Charles Ellis

During his career at JRA, Charles Ellis has developed a broad portfolio that includes residential development and residential care homes, the refurbishment of listed buildings, office fit-out and new-build commercial buildings such as JRA’s Crossrail over-site developments at Farringdon and Moorgate. Charles joined JRA in 2001 and worked on the refurbishment of historic industrial buildings and new build apartment buildings at Macintosh Mills in Manchester.

Charles has an expert knowledge of construction and the management techniques needed to deliver high quality buildings. His ability to turn this knowledge to a diverse range of applications is evidenced by his leadership of the JRA team of monitoring architects that oversaw the technical compliance of British Land’s 48 -Storey Leadenhall Building; while at the same time leading the innovative recladding of the Grade II listed Great Arthur House flats for the Corporation of London.
