Ian Routley

Ian has extensive experience on a wide range of housing and delivery projects. When he joined JRA in 2004 he brought particular expertise in large-scale urban regeneration, masterplanning, consultation with residents and housing for people with special needs.

Ian has expert knowledge of the delivery of complex, large scale mixed-use projects, working collaboratively with high-profile practices. He led the team on two phases of 200 homes each at Greenwich Millennium Village, a government-backed showcase for sustainable, mixed community inner city housing, where JRA were the executive and production architect. Ian was also responsible for the team at NEO Bankside, a new high-tech residential development located directly next to the Tate Modern Gallery, working with Design and Build Contractors on the design development and realisation of the complex inner-city site. More recently, Ian has been managing teams on The Corniche, a prestigious mixed-tenure high-rise scheme for St James at Albert Embankment, including168 private apartments and an 84 unit Elderly Supported Housing building, and Burlington Gate, a high-quality residential and mixed-use development in Mayfair.
