JRA celebrates International Women’s Day

JRA has marked International Women’s Day, an annual occasion aimed at celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and striving for gender parity.

The theme for 2017 focuses on “Women in the Changing World of Work: Planet 50-50 by 2030” and Being Bold for Change. These themes are particularly pertinent to JRA as a practice whose workforce is 52% female, including 22 qualified architects.

Staff across our studios gathered for a commemorative photo to celebrate the contribution they make to the success of the practice and show their support for women’s achievements around the world. JRA is proud to support International Women’s Day and be an equal opportunities employer.
