Using recycled cardboard and all sorts of craft materials, children are invited to design a city at our Fantasy Skyline – A New Future! workshop at 6 Bevis Marks. We encourage children and families to take a closer look at the London skyline and – using their imagination and creativity – bring some new buildings to life.
The activity was inspired by our Building on the Past, Shaping the Future exhibition, held at the NLA and Bankside galleries last year, which provided a new architectural vision for 2050.
The workshop is part of the Archikids Festival, an Open-City initiative that aims to inspire children to explore new places and buildings within the City of London’s Square Mile. The weekend will host over 30 free architectural activities and is part of a wider programme which encourages families from all areas of London to take part.
Join us on Sunday 26th July, between 1-4pm at 6 Bevis Marks, EC3A 7AF – Free.
