On 6th February John revealed what it takes to create a building at a careers day for the children of Lea Valley Primary School, North London. The children learnt about the precision and skill required in architecture and enjoyed seeing the finished results, including JRA’s BankMed, 39 Victoria Street, and Neo Bankside during the slideshow.
After seeing some of JRA’s efforts, the year three and four pupils were invited to take on the role of architect themselves, drawing fantasy buildings to live, work or play in.
The event was enjoyed by everyone involved and certainly got the children thinking about their future and the future of London itself. Watch this space for the next group influencing the skyline
