JRA is holding a PechaKucha evening on 15th June as part of the London Festival of Architecture 2016. Six speakers will have 20 slides, each on screen for 20 seconds to explore the theme of our title ‘Victorian Industrialist versus Millennial Entrepreneur’. Speakers from a range of disciplines including journalists, heritage experts and designers will tackle the topic, using the LFA framework of ‘Community’ to reflect on how people’s life aspirations and attitudes to work have evolved and affected communities.
The LFA is a city-wide celebration of architectural experimentation, thinking and practice held annually in June. JRA’s event is powered by PechaKucha using the 20×20 format created for young designers to meet, network and show their work in public.
