Construction Starts at Farringdon West
Construction has begun on site at Farringdon West, a seven storey Crossrail Over-Site Development designed by John Robertson Architects. JRA created the concept design for the building which sits immediately adjacent to the new Farringdon station.
The scheme comprises 13,000m2 of office and retail space, as well as extensive outdoor terraces. The original designs drew extensively on the local area to create a new building that fits seamlessly into its historic, central London surroundings with a palette of materials including faience, terracotta and anodised aluminium.
The scheme was acquired by developer HB Reavis in 2018, and is expected to complete in 2020.
