Principal Director John Robertson spoke to Peter Murray about the practice’s extensive commercial experience and how he sees the future of central business districts in the post COVID environment.
Taking central London offices as a starting point, John offered expert insight into reimagining office spaces for the next generation of occupiers. He drew on JRA projects such as Bloom, Clerkenwell for HB Reavis as a prime example of working hubs with extensive space and amenities to ensure both productivity and wellbeing. He stressed the continued need for community and creative, collaborative space found in working environments, as well as the possibility of hybrid working patterns which balance this need with online tasks.
