JRA are proud to announce our involvement in ‘Counting the upfront carbon in Cat B office fit-out’.

Championed by Zoë Glander, Overbury brought together thought leaders across the industry to establish the current upfront carbon level of Cat B office fitout.

Notwithstanding the enormous progress of measuring carbon emissions in the built environment, fit-out remains a significant carbon blind spot in the workplace industry – exacerbated by ever shorter lease terms and associated frequency of replacement.

This research clearly sets out the importance of fit-out carbon and will form the basis for the performance levels set in the upcoming publication of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard.

At JRA, we take pride in sharing our expertise and passion for the workplace sector to highlight the potential and necessity for carbon reduction in office interiors and help the real estate sector achieve their corporate commitments.
