JRA’s white water drama
On Thursday 20th August JRA’s Burlington Gate project team took part in a white water rafting challenge to raise money for Chickenshed Theatre. The team fought the elements as well as 11 other companies at the Lee Valley White Water Centre where Team GB won Gold and Silver at the London 2012 Olympics. Following the 2 hour course through grade-four rapids, the teams dried off over a summer BBQ.
The event was in aid of Chickenshed Theatre, raising money for their inclusive theatre work, providing outreach and opportunities for young people to access the performing arts.
JRA is frequently involved in community initiatives and fundraising, including Venture Trust, Open City, St Mungo’s Broadway and are Foundation Partners of LandAid, a national charity enabling the property industry to support projects with disadvantaged children and young people.
