The Copyright Building, London W1

JRA is monitoring architect on The Copyright Building, located at 29-33 Berners Street in Fitzrovia, immediately south of Fitzroy Place and opposite the Sanderson Hotel. The new build development will replace three existing commercial buildings and comprise 85,000 sq ft of offices over seven floors and 20,000 sq ft at ground and lower ground level which will house restaurants and a gallery.

The design, by Piercy&Company for Derwent London, is inspired by the surrounding streetscape and area’s history of arts, crafts and manufacture. Piercy&Company has specified travertine, bronze and timber for the facade to create an elegant and modern look which respects the heritage and tradition of the surrounding streets.
