Client: Blackstone
Malvern House is an English language education centre situated in King’s Cross, London. Blackstone commissioned JRA to create a bespoke fit out for the centre as part of their neighbouring Nido accommodation development.
Malvern House King’s Cross is the company’s third branch in London and following JRA’s fit out offers a library, resource centre, leisure facilities, and 17 classrooms with the capacity to teach up to 600 students per day. The teaching spaces are based around interactivity and JRA incorporated integrated IT and connectivity facilities across the site.
The designs were created using a student focus approach, projecting a youthful and international feel which promotes sociability and welfare. This was produced whilst using the budget efficiently, adding value in key areas and mixing finishes. JRA collaborated with other teams at key stages, including working closely with the company Artworks for the graphics throughout the project.
